We are pleased to annouce our next Paranormal Investigation has been confirmed!

Lady Eleanor Butler and Miss Sarah Ponsonby captured the imagination of Regency society. They received a stream of visitors to the unpretentious little cottage which, over the years, they transformed into a Gothic fantasy of projecting stained glass and elaborately carved oak. Inside Plas Newydd today, an exhibition including some of their possessions and an audio tour bring their story to vivid life. You can stroll through their gardens and along their riverside walk. And you can take tea, as Wordsworth, Sir Walter Scott and the Duke of Wellington have all done before you.

PARANORMAL Events
Terms & Conditions
Due to high cost of hiring property for events, our way of funding is via sponsorship. Everyone attending MUST collect at least £25 in sponsors via our LLR sponsor forms.
Due to people who collect sponsorship but don’t pay it over, we like many other charities have a policy on being sponsored for an event. You will need to collect sponsorship money prior to the investigation and bring it with you on the night with your sponsor form. We suggest you photocopy forms once you have finished collecting for your own records. (Sponsor form will be sent once full payment is received.)
Failure to bring money and form on the night of the event, you will be asked to leave without refund
· You must be over 18 to be able to book a place on this event.
· Terms and conditions for payment and sponsorship are outlined on page one.
· You must adhere to the instructions of both the charity representatives and the paranormal team who will be hosting our event.
· You must have a torch will you at all times. Spare torches may not be available; therefore it is essential that you do bring your own.
· You must wear trainers or flat shoes – the floors may be uneven in places, therefore flat footwear is essential.
· You must not leave the room that you are investigating without the permission of a LLR Research team representative or a paranormal team representative.
· Smoking is strictly prohibited within the building. There will be breaks throughout the evening where you may be able to smoke within the designated area if suitable.
· Please be aware that we have a very strict policy to the use of alcohol/recreational drugs both during the day of the investigation and throughout the investigation. Whilst we do not wish to seem unreasonable, this event is a serious paranormal investigation, therefore if you attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs you will be refused entry and asked to leave, without a refund. This policy has been put in place for your own and everyone’s safety – we visit very old buildings, and when the lights are off you do need to have your wits about you! Attendees under the influence of alcohol or drugs spoil the evening for others taking part, so we do ask that you respect and adhere to this policy.
· Abusive behaviour or language will not be tolerated at any level. In the event of abusive behaviour or language you will be asked to leave, or will be removed from the premises.
· Please be sensitive to the feelings and experiences of the other people taking part in the event with you. The paranormal can be fascinating & thrilling, but can also be emotional for some people. Please do respect every individual taking part.
· We cannot guarantee paranormal activity as we don’t have any influence on what will happen, however please do be open minded whilst taking part in the event.
In addition to flat shoes/trainers, indoor warm clothing and a torch with spare batteries; you may wish to bring some of the following along with you:
-
Camera/video camera/recording machines or audio recording machines.
-
Cold drinks/energy drinks, sandwiches, snacks or chocolate for an energy boost.
